Acid Reflux can be caused by overproduction of the stomach acid as well as underproduction. In this case the Lower Esophageal Sphincter will assume the digestion process is complete due to lack of enough acid in the stomach and open. This will in return lead to acid being ejected into the esophagus lining. Consuming apple cider vinegar will increase the amount of acid in the stomach which will counteract the problem. You can mix a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar with a glass of water and drink. If the condition persists, then you will have to stop taking the solution.
6. Ginger and Chamomile Tea
You can easily get rid of the problem through use of tea. You can buy organic tea and prepare it or use any other herbs you will get near you. Common herbal teas which you can apply to get rid of acid reflux problem include ginger tea. In the case of ginger tea you will have to take about three inches of ginger and boil in water for about 15 minutes. Ginger acts as a natural acid buffer hence it will offer you quick remedy to the burning sensation. You can add honey to the tea so that it will taste. Honey is also very helpful because it will balance your stomach pH level. You should strain the tea and drink before meals. Chamomile tea can be used as well. At first you may feel irritation when swallowing, but just swallow because it will heal your esophagus naturally.
Licorice is an herb which has necessary chemicals which will help in getting rid of the acid reflux problem. You can boil the roots and make tea out of them. After drinking, they will create a fine film which will protect your esophagus against the action of the acid which will be ejected back.
